Founder/Executive Director

  • California Acupuncture Resources, Inc., 1991-2005, San Leandro.
    A nonprofit corporation providing acupuncture and Chinese medicine services to local governmental and community-based agencies.
    As Executive Director and senior acupuncturist, Elliot developed and ran programs that enabled agencies to provide services to underserved clients: homeless, recovering addicts, mentally ill, and people with AIDS and other chronic illnesses.
  • The Clara Felix Sickle Cell Clinic, 2003-2005, Oakland       
    Acupuncture/natural medicine clinic for children and adults with sickle cell anemia.
    Elliot Wagner was founder and Clinic Director. The clinic was named for his mother, a nutritionist and writer with a deep interest in this terrible disease.
